Rumworth & Hulton Community Meeting 7th September - Goodbye to Sgt Cooper, Hello to Sgt Dixon

Good Evening All,

For those I have not met, I am Sergeant Oliver Cooper and I have been the local Neighbourhood Sergeant for Rumworth/Hulton for nearly 3 years.

In a few weeks time I will be leaving this role and Bolton to join a new team that works across Greater Manchester. I have really enjoyed my time working for the communities of Rumworth/Hulton and want to thank all those who have supported me and the team. 

Sergeant Mike Dixon will be taking over my role and brings with him a wealth of experience working in different units during his career with Greater Manchester Police.

I will be holding my final community meeting at St Andrew’s Church, Crescent Ave, Over Hulton, BL5 1EN on the 3rd September at 7pm.

This will be an opportunity for me to say goodbye but also for Sergeant Dixon to say hello. I will also be inviting local councillors and partners.

We hope to see you there and if not, thank you again and all the best for the future.
